Five acts not to be missed at the FestiVoix de Trois-Rivières 2024

0

FestiVoix in Trois-Rivières runs from June 27 to July 7 and features over 100 performances for the festival's 31st anniversary edition. Held in the historic district and downtown's harbor park, FestiVoix's nine-day shows feature a wide range of genres – from hip-hop to punk, folk to jazz, the festival has something for everyone.

Featuring headliners Rise Against, Florida, Cypress Hill and more, FestiVoix was unsurprisingly sold out on several days – although tickets are still available for some of the remaining days, which have a lot to offer.

Check out Exclaim!'s five must-see acts at FestiVoix de Trois-Rivières 2024 below.

Golden Finger
Opening for Pennywise, the ska-punk legends, who have all but abandoned their third-wave roots in recent years, will resurrect on the River Stage on Canada Day, bringing their defiant, energetic take on LA punk to crowds old and new.

Le Roy, La Rose and Le Lou[p]
Ariane Roy, Thierry Larose and Lou-Adriane Cassidy are among the latest additions to Bravo Musique, part of Coeur de Pirate. They went on tour with their joint show in 2023. They will join forces again on the 2024 festival circuit, bringing powerful gang vocals and multi-instrumental arrangements to their respective works and now come with their eponymous live debut album from 2024.

Dean Lewis
Australian indie-folk singer-songwriter Dean Lewis will close the ninth day of FestiVoix performances with a soothing set of poetic, piano-led tunes, particularly suited to fans of heartthrobs Ed Sheeran and Lewis Capaldi.

live
Post-grunge is making a huge comeback in 2024, and what better way to celebrate than to see one of its pioneers in the flesh? Led by founding singer Ed Kowalczyk, Live – fresh off a 2023 tour with Incubus – are ready to deliver a career-spanning set that draws a common thread from the early '90s to the present.

Pennywise
Punk veterans Pennywise have been producing their songs since 1991 and show no signs of stopping. They will headline the festivities on July 1st after Goldfinger's warm-up on the River Stage and will play FestiVoix for the first time ever. Be sure to wear your best moshing shoes!
