2024 Mare Nostrum – Monaco: Final of the second day postponed due to pool problems, Skins final shortened

Due to a pool issue, the final session on day two of the 2024 Mare Nostrum stop in Monaco has been delayed by 90 minutes. The session was originally scheduled to start at 16:30 Central European Summer Time (10:30 Eastern Standard Time), but has been rescheduled to 18:00 Central European Summer Time (12:00 Eastern Standard Time).

Update: According to SwimSwam's Coleman Hodges, the water in the pool was too murky to begin the meet at the originally scheduled time. A team is working to replace the pool filters before the session can begin as scheduled.

Due to the delay, the skins races have also been shortened. Instead of having a 4-swim semi-final of the skins events at the beginning of the session and a 2-swim final at the end of the session, the skins events will instead be held as a 4-swim final at the end of the session. The session will now start directly with the men's 400m individual medley final.

The new order of events is as follows:

  • Men’s 400 m individual medley, final
