Hornsea Museum commemorates D-Day – Saturday 1 June

From 11am-4pm, Hornsea Museum is hosting a free event to commemorate the upcoming anniversary of D-Day.

There will be refreshments and a 1940s singer on the day. The dress code is “dress impressively in 1940s style” – but this is optional. Check out the Facebook page for more information.

Hull Model Railway Show – Saturday 1st June – Sunday 2nd June

For all model railway fans this weekend will be an unforgettable day.

The Hull Model Railway Show is taking place again this year in the event area on the ground floor of Princes Quay. Organised by the Hull Miniature Railway Society, visitors can look forward to working model railway layouts, stalls and even two model railway layouts that children can operate themselves.
