Rain, shine or snow: The Lag BaOmer Parade in Montreal

In Montreal, one of the few cities that hosts a Lag BaOmer parade every year, rain, shine, or even snow, another beautiful parade took place this year, coordinated by a Chabad activist. Rabbi David Cohen the youth organization Chabad Lubavitch.

The extremely successful parade was held in cooperation with the Shluchim of Beth Chabad COTE S-LUC, rabbi And Mrs Mendel And Sarah Raskin, Rabbi Tsemach RaskinAnd Rabbi Levi Naparstek.

Over 4,000 visitors attended this beautiful sunny day and 20 vehicles, cars and trucks proudly decorated the Mivtzoyim prepared by the Yeshiva and Zal.

The parade was led by the 6th grade marching band and coordinated by Mr Avi Tansky, Shalom Ber SilbersteinAnd Shmuly Cohen. Mrs Adel Zirkind coordinated the parents’ committee of the brass band.

Special thanks went to Chaya Mushka Seminary for their help in coordinating all the signs and balloons for the event.

Snacks were distributed and a nice program with professional entertainers, including the Nacho Circus And Fredolini the ClownA petting zoo, pony rides, bouncy castles, barbecues, candy floss and ice cream were available for everyone.
