QUIRK, Maryrose (Warner) Maryrose (Warner) Quirk, 92, of Granby, widow of Louis F. Quirk, Jr., died Sunday, (September 17, 2006), at Chestnut Point Nursing Home in East Windsor. Born in Jamaica, NY, daughter of the late John and Ann (Briecoff) Warner, she lived in Granby, Windsor and Florida, returning to Granby 12 years ago. She was a hairdresser and operated the Maryrose Beauty Salon in Granby. She was a member of the Granby Senior Center and a communicant of St. Therese Church. She is survived by a son, James Wayne Shattuck of Northport, FL; two daughters, Jean Folger of Enfield and Roseann Lemkey of Windsor; a son-in-law, William Landrigan of West Hartford; 10 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Patricia (Quirk) Landrigan. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 19, at 9:30 a.m. from the Hayes-Huling & Carmon Funeral Home, 364 Salmon Brook Street, Granby, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Bernard's Church, Maple Street, Tariffville Section of Simsbury. Interment will be in Simsbury Cemetery. Her family will receive friends at the Funeral Home from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Tuesday morning.
