Hull City's big contenders for the coveted individual title heading into the final day

Just one game remains for Hull City to secure a place in the play-offs after the Tigers closed the gap to West Brom to two points in Saturday's six-goal thriller against Ipswich Town at the MKM Stadium, a valuable one Point.

City really needed all three points but after Liam Rosenior's men fought back three times to equalize against an Ipswich side hoping for automatic promotion, they take the point and head to Plymouth on Saturday.

As we approach the end of a vibrant Championship season, this has been a campaign to remember for Liam Rosenior and his City players, many of whom have developed brilliantly over the last nine months or so.

And with only one game left, it's time to reflect on the players who were at their best, and there were plenty of them, but we've whittled the number down to just 10 for fans to vote on can.

To qualify for the title, players had to have played at least 25 league games, which unfortunately excludes the likes of Liverpool loanee Fabio Carvalho, who has scored nine goals in 19 appearances since joining in January.

Alfie Jones

No player has played more games this season than the 44 that Alfie Jones has. The only game he missed was at QPR in December due to a knock and the Tigers lost 2-0 in one of their least impressive performances of the season, showing what a huge failure he was. Jones performed extremely impressively throughout the campaign and formed a great partnership with Jacob Greaves.

Lewie Coyle

The captain of the ship and, alongside Jacob Greaves, arguably the most improved player in City's squad. Coyle had emerged as one of the Championship's best right-backs this season, but was equally adept at playing in the middle or on the left when needed. He is a key figure both on the field and in the locker room. The epitome of what a club captain should be and a worthy contender.

Jacob Greaves

Arguably one of the standout players for City this season, and like Jones, he was almost always present and extremely important in Rosenior's side. Greaves' development this season has been nothing short of tremendous and his selection in the Championship Team of the Season is fully justified. And for everyone who was there, Huddersfield Town's stoppage-time winner will be remembered for a long time.

Tyler Morton

The dynamic midfielder has had a really good season after joining from Liverpool on deadline day in the summer. Morton has developed a really positive relationship with Jean Michael Seri and has undoubtedly learned so much from the experienced Ivorian during the campaign.

Regan Slater

If there was ever an award for most reliable player, it would have to go to Regan for another solid and consistent season in which he played almost every position except goal. He has rarely let his team down this season and, like his colleagues, has made great strides in his development.

Ozan Tufan

Tufan has been a fan favorite since his arrival and the season has been very positive for the most part. Like every other player, he has had dips in performance, but his ten goals are his best for City, most recently against Ipswich. Tufan's hat-trick against Sheffield Wednesday at the start of the season was a highlight, as was his tremendous opening performance against QPR recently.

Jean Michael Seri

Another confidant of Liam Rosenior. Mika was absent during the winter months when he was away in his home country, making history and winning the Africa Cup of Nations with Ivory Coast. He may be 34, but his game has developed significantly under Rosenior, a point that was perfectly showcased when he exploited Lewis O'Brien's pocket to score the second goal against Middlesbrough earlier this month, and his assist for Tufan on Saturday against Ipswich.

Ryan Allsop

The goalkeeper has been heavily criticized by some fans at times this season and although he admits to making some crucial mistakes, he has also made a significant contribution to City's performances, particularly away from the MKM Stadium. Allsop is vital to Rosenior's side's play and he has played his part by keeping ten clean sheets.

Liam Delap

In the first part of the season before his untimely injury, Liam Delap was a real threat to opposing defenders. His opening day goal at Norwich set the tone and since then he has scored seven goals and a couple of assists. When he struggled with that knee problem at the start of the new year, he and City lost a real talent who was playing in top form and full of confidence. His goal on Saturday evening brought down the roof of the MKM Stadium and capped a good few weeks for Manchester City's young star.

Jaden Philogene

The winger enjoyed a breakthrough at City following his move from Aston Villa and, thanks to his good form, built a successful career with the England Under-21 side, linking up with Delap and Morton. When he's on form, he's been a joy to watch this season and has played a big role in keeping the Tigers in the play-off conversation with 12 goals and six assists.
