Starratt, Carl Heston – 61 of Fletchers Lake, formerly of Cambridge; We are sad to announce that Carl passed away at home on May 3, 2024 after a short illness. He was born January 3, 1963, in Windsor, Hants County, to Thaddy and Ada (Brown) Starratt, both of Cambridge, Hants County.
Carl attended Hants West Rural High School and continued his education at Windsor Regional Vocational School. He worked as an aircraft painter at IMP Aerospace for 36 years. In his free time, Carl enjoyed fishing, spending time with friends, and hanging out in his shed at his childhood home on Highway 215.
Carl is survived by his mother Ada Starratt, sisters Marlene Kamikawa and Christina (Purcy) Singer, niece Anni, nephews Michael and Matthew, great-nephew Will and great-niece Kinsley.
Carl was predeceased by his father, Thaddy, and his grandparents.
A special thank you to Carl's work family at IMP for their kindness and support during this difficult time.
Cremation has taken place and a private family burial will take place at a later date.
Donations in Carl's memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
