Van driver ‘dragged out and attacked by 20 motorcyclists’ at Eureka Leisure Park in Ashford


A 20-man motorcycle gang is said to have surrounded a delivery van in a family amusement park, dragged the driver out and then repeatedly beat him.

Police are searching for suspects who are also believed to have attacked the man through his window at Eureka Leisure Park in Ashford.

He was treated at William Harvey Hospital after suffering injuries to his face, legs and hand in the alleged ordeal, which occurred between 7:30 and 8:30 a.m. on May 6.

A police spokesman said: “Kent Police would like to speak to anyone who has information about the incident.”

“Officers would particularly like to speak to anyone who noticed a large group of motorcyclists in the area this morning.


“Motorists with dashcam footage from the area on May 6 may have vital information to assist the investigation and are urged to come forward.”

When the victim drove onto the site, he was surrounded by motorcycles, police said.

It is alleged that the group then launched an attack through the window of the vehicle, dragging him out and punching and kicking him several times.

The van was also damaged.
