Last competition of the season for the Gymini Club


The Gymini artistic gymnastics club ended its competition season this weekend in Granby at the Coupe provinciale N4 to N6. The athletes returned home with numerous prizes.

Naomie Savoie, who competed in the N6 15+ category, finished her season with 4th place overall on the apparatus. She took 8th place on the floor and gold on the uneven bars. She was also one of the best in her category in Quebec.

In the N6 13-14 category, Sofy Panfilii excelled on the uneven bars with an excellent score of 9.5, securing 5th place. She took 7th place on the vault.

Marianne Di Turi, competing in the same category as her teammate, mastered her levitation routine perfectly and finished the year with her best total score of the season of 36.275 out of 40.

Anaïs Robert came very close to the podium with a 5th place in the jump. Her best overall result of the season was equal to that of her teammate and friend Marianne Di Turi.

Despite suffering a foot injury a few days before the competition, Marianne Blain competed. Originally ranked 62nd out of 64, she managed to move up to 43rd place in Quebec. Her mastered routine on the uneven bars was particularly notable.

Mackenzie Kra from the N4 9-10 category achieved 8.2 points in the powder snow and 8.75 points for her floor exercise despite a fall.
She particularly stood out in the vault, where she took 6th place with a score of 9.175.

Emma Lawn from the N6 11-12 category finished her best competition of the year in Granby. She rose in the rankings over the course of the year and showed steady progress.

Finally, Noémie Vincent finished a good year in the N6 13-14 category, despite a few obstacles during the competition. Her performance on the uneven bars was particularly noteworthy.
