TROIS-RIVI´ERES, QUEBEC – The Windy City ThunderBolts lost their third game in a row on Tuesday night, 8-7 to the Trois-Rivières Aigles.

Windy City (8-9) struck out in the first inning. Christian Kuzemka hit two runs to give them a 3-0 lead. Joe Encarnacion hit an RBI single and the Bolts scored five runs in the first inning.

In the third inning, the Aigles (8-7) increased their lead to 5-2 with a two-run home run by Brendon Dadson.

Encarnacion hit an opposite-field home run in the sixth inning to give the Bolts a 6-2 lead. Encarnacion finished the night with three hits.

James Smibert hit an RBI single after a bloop double by Wille Estrada, cutting the Bolts' lead to 6-3.

Louis-Phillippe Pelletier hit a solo home run in the seventh inning and the Aigles took the lead and never relented after a two-run triple by Smibert.

In the ninth inning, with the Bolts down to one out, Kuzemka hit an RBI single to right field to tie the game 7-7 with two outs.

Trois-Rivières (8-7) starting pitcher Logan Hofmann (1-0) pitched 5.2 innings, allowed four earned runs on four hits, allowed three walks and had four strikeouts.

Windy City's starting pitcher Michael Barker had no decision, threw six innings, allowed three runs (two earned) on four walks and had seven strikeouts. Tyler Naumann (0-2) took the loss for the Bolts, Michaell Mililano (2-1) took the win for the Aigles.

Windy City returns to the field on Wednesday at 6:05 CT against the Aigles at Stade Quillorama. Buddie Pindel (2-0, 2.75) starts for the Bolts. Watch the broadcast on wcthunderbolts.com.
